WE HAVE LOST ANOTHER CLASSMATE.
Our sincerest condolences to Dane's wife Alvena and the entire Warren Family. Relatives say Dane died on Sunday March 26, 2023 from an apparent heart attack.
After graduating from St. Aug then Xavier University of New Orleans, Dane launched a career in technology with AT&T. He lived in Charlotte, North Carolina and eventually retired from Bell South Telephone Company.
Dane is pictured below with some of his St. Aug classmates who also graduated from Xavier with him. It was their 50th class reunion.

This website was established and is maintained to enhance the strong bonds among the Purple Knights of 1965, and to assist others seeking to become Purple Knights of another generation. The Class of 1965 activities are spearheaded by a committee of nine alumni dedicated to "giving back" to Saint Augustine High School which has given its alumni so much over the past seven decades. The committee is a non-profit entity. 100% of all donations go to St. Aug. Scholarships are awarded annually, and funds are also donated for scholarships in perpetuity.
